New York, NY – Latinos in Information Sciences and Technology Association (LISTA) today announced the winners of its 4th Annual Tech-Latino 2030 Legislative Forum and “Government Beacon Awards, which recognizes Government officials and community leaders who go above and beyond for the Latino community. This year’s recipients will be honored at an awards ceremony at the Washington Hilton on Thursday May 12th 2011 at 6:30 pm.
The 4th Annual LISTA Tech-Latino 2030 Legislative Forum and “Government Beacon” Awards is chaired by Thomas Oliver and will feature opening remarks by Tony Jimenez, Chair of LISTA and President of MicroTech. Winners were selected by LISTA’s Board of Directors in an online vote. Selection of these awardees was based on individual contributions made to the Latino community in 2010.
